Ximongwe River and Safari Camp

Ximongwe River Camp is nestled on the banks of the mighty Olifants River you will find a piece of heaven where elephant is but one of the regular visitors to its grassy planes. A variety of sightings daily from the fish eagle catching its daily food to the gentle giants of the bush grazing quietly on the banks of the river. Gripping sounds can be heard around the boma at night when the African Wood Owl and the Pel’s Fishing Owl are calling their mates.

Ximongwe Safari Eco Camp is family owned and managed, a rustic and intimate, partially fenced bush camp nestling at the very heart of the Balule Parsons Private Nature Reserve, which forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park. A maximum of 6 guests are accommodated in 3 identical elevated safari style tent units set amongst the natural vegetation around a central campfire and boma area.
